Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in data center electrical construction. You will oversee large-scale projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.

You will collaborate with Superintendents, customers, vendors, and internal teams to execute fast-paced data center projects across the United States, with nationwide travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 to 12 years of electrical construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience on large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing data center electrical construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems including switchgear, generators, power distribution, grounding, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
• Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
• Valid driver's license required with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide for extended project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management for electrical construction projects from award to closeout.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans.
• Coordinate resources to ensure safe, efficient project delivery.
• Lead kickoff meetings and set objectives, milestones, and expectations.
• Manage budgets, costs, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Review costs, commitments, and subcontractor expenditures.
• Identify and manage project risks, change orders, and cost impacts.
• Support monthly financial reviews and ensure profitability.
