Job summary

Meade is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Tech to commission mission-critical data center electrical systems for a top technology company. You will assist in commissioning power generation, UPS, ATS, PDUs, medium-voltage switchgear, and protective relaying systems.

Candidates should have knowledge of electrical power systems and strong leadership and communication skills. This role requires 100% travel and involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and teams to ensure testing conforms

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in data centers preferred.
• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering preferred; others considered.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, overseeing, and writing commissioning policies, scripts and procedures.
• Perform construction observations and develop thorough test plans.
• Execute tests for electrical and mechanical systems per standards/specifications.
• Review and analyze data and prepare technical reports.
• Review design documents and equipment submittals.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and project team members.
