Job summary

Arke in Dallas seeks an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning activities for data center projects. You will oversee testing of switchgear, transformers, and protection systems, and coordinate EPMS/BMS integration while engaging with contractors and clients on fast-paced, live projects.

The role emphasizes startup, testing, and verification of medium- and low-voltage systems for hyperscale and colocation environments in the Dallas area.

Qualifications

Experience in electrical commissioning, startup, testing, or mission-critical power systems.
Data center experience preferred, but candidates from critical industrial, utility, or power generation environments are welcome.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical commissioning activities across mission-critical facilities.
Manage switchgear testing and energisation procedures.
Oversee transformer, breaker, and protection system commissioning.
Conduct UPS, battery, and emergency power system testing.
Verify power distribution systems and electrical infrastructure.
Coordinate EPMS, BMS, and controls integration activities.
Execute site acceptance testing (SAT) and functional performance testing.
Review commissioning documentation, reports, and test procedures.
Interface with contractors, vendors, clients, and project teams throughout project delivery.
