Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical Applications Engineer for their Charlotte office, who will be the subject matter expert on data center electrical products. Responsibilities include creating design documents, managing project designs, and providing technical application engineering support. The ideal candidate will have 4-10+ years of experience in power systems as well as familiarity with data center infrastructure. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 4-10+ years experience as a Power Systems Electrical Engineer.
• Experience working for MEP / A/E Firms.
• Licensed PE / EIT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and provide multidisciplinary electrical engineering design.
• Create conceptual designs from client meetings.
• Track project status and ensure proper documentation.

Skills

Electrical Power Systems and Equipment

Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics

Experience with BIM / Revit

Effective Communicator

Strong understanding of data center infrastructure

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
