Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, USA, is seeking a Data Center Dock Associate for the A Shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm). Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, assembling server racks, and maintaining inventory with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for on-site datacenter parts.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with accuracy.
• Install cabling into server racks following provided diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
• Push, pull and lift as required during shifts.
