Job summary

Ll Oefentherapie is seeking an experienced Data Center Construction Lead to guide colocation projects through design, commissioning and startup, delivering on time and within budget.

You will supervise project managers, manage contracts with vendors, and escalate risks to executive leadership while ensuring adherence to design specs and industry standards.

The role requires strong communication, site walks, and hands-on oversight of power, cooling, networking and cabling installations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data center construction projects.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction of data centers by colocation providers.
• Provide high-level leadership to project managers and align with organizational objectives.
• Direct the creation, review, and maintenance of design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers.
• Lead strategic site walks and oversee startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects.
• Address gaps in risk identification and mitigation, and communicate potential impacts to executive leadership.
• Direct the role of primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers.
• Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
