Job summary

Related in New York City is seeking a Cost Manager to support data center projects onsite. You will report to the Senior Vice President and coordinate between development, construction, accounting and legal to produce financial/cost reporting.

You will maintain cost codes, track budgets and contingencies, and prepare weekly/monthly reports for leadership and lenders. A strong Excel skill set and project-focussed mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as intermediary between development, construction, accounting and legal for financial/cost reporting.
• Ensure compliance with cost processes and procedures.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Transform estimates into cost code structures for project use.
• Maintain ACR structure with new cost codes and holds.
• Prepare cost analyses and reports with historical, current and forecasted information.
• Develop budgets, monitor contingencies and risk in cost projections.
• Create and review cash flows and procurement budgets.
• Assist in contract close out and incorporate cost data into close out.
