Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions is seeking a Cost Engineer to support large‑scale data center construction projects across the United States. You will track costs, forecast outcomes, analyze trends, and provide actionable financial information to project teams to keep projects on budget.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Operations, Accounting, and Project Controls to drive accurate reporting and meaningful insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction cost control or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting large construction, industrial, electrical, or data center projects preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost reporting, forecasting, and project financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain project cost reports, forecasts, and financial tracking tools.
• Monitor labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect costs against budgets.
• Analyze productivity and cost trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for project leadership and executive management.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve performance.
• Support project closeout activities and final cost reconciliation.
• Eliminate waste in project controls processes.
