Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Technician to maintain and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across AWS data centers.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, support commissioning, and collaborate with Engineers and Technicians to drive reliability in critical environments. You will read schematics, perform calibrations, supervise low-voltage electrical contractors, and participate in change management

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of industrial controls systems and field devices.
• Experience with low voltage controls, wiring, and calibration diagnostics.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS in multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on BMS/EPMS operation and control.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain programming code and hardware for BMS/EPMS.
• Install, configure, and calibrate sensors and related equipment.
