Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Controls Engineer for a data-center project in Helper, Utah. You will support installation, commissioning, and validation of BMS, EPMS, and SCADA architectures, ensuring reliable operation through the commissioning lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on experience with Rockwell PLCs, Ignition SCADA, and field calibration, plus documentation of testing progress using BIM360 and CxAlloy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Experience with control systems commissioning and calibration.
• Knowledge of Rockwell PLCs and Ignition SCADA software.
• Strong documentation of test procedures and results.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and commissioning of BMS/EPMS/SCADA.
• Troubleshoot I/O wiring and signal transmission for accuracy.
• Calibrate instrumentation to maintain measurement accuracy.
• Perform loop and functional testing of PLCs, HMIs, and vendor systems.
• Document testing results using BIM360 and CxAlloy.
• Troubleshoot network, wiring, and data-mapping issues.
• Collaborate with teams to debug control system deficiencies.
• Improve commissioning processes and documentation standards.
