Job summary

National Technologies (NTI-A Network Connex Company) is seeking a Network Technician-Data Center to support installation of racks, cabinets, grounding, and fiber-related infrastructure. The role requires reading ISP diagrams, maintaining field notes, and adhering to project timelines.

Travel, overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on business needs. The candidate will perform data center cage and overhead ladder rack work, read engineering drawings, ensure safety procedures,

Qualifications

• Must have High School/GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant job experience in electronics, telecom, construction or project management.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings and interpret engineer instructions.
• Knowledge of cable testing procedures and equipment.
• Experience with data center racks, cabinets, ladder rack, fiber guide and termination panels.

Responsibilities

• Install data center infrastructure including racks, cabinets, grounding, fiber guide, and ladder rack.
• Read and follow engineers' instructions and project specifications; maintain scope and safety.
• Prepare field notes; read maps, drawings, and interpret ISP diagrams.
• Ensure adherence to customer timelines and project profitability.
• Coordinate with project managers and technicians to source skilled personnel.
