Job summary
TensorWave is seeking a Construction Project Engineer (Data Center) to support the on-site Senior Project Manager and construction team. You will be the documentation and quality backbone, moving RFIs, tracking submittals, and ensuring field work aligns with design intent for a reliable AI compute facility.
The role focuses on coordinating RFI logs, shop drawings, and QC inspections, with execution that enables the AI infrastructure customers rely on.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
- 5+ years on large commercial/industrial construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
- Experience with RFI and submittal workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication; organized and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative support to on-site Project Manager and team.
- Manage RFI log and ensure timely responses.
- Coordinate submittal and shop drawing reviews with engineers and architects.
- Conduct QC inspections and document progress per plans.
- Assist in preparation of RFQ documents for developers and contractors.
