Title : Data Center Construction Manager

Location : Remote

Pay Rate : $60 / hr to $70 / hr

Duration : 12 months

• The Global Strategy Engineer responsibilities include :
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders during the due diligence phase to oversee the process and ensure design requirements are considered
• Collaborating with internal teams to gather data to ensure pre-requisites for start of design stage are met.
• Leading the predesign phase and ensuring design ready deliverables are handed over to the design team
• Analysis of major intercepts impact to site plans and strategy
• In conjunction with the Energy Team, work with International Utilities to understand HV / MV substation design and impacts to assess risk and impacts on our builds
• Providing engineering design decisions to the planning team for strategic planning and region selection.
• Collaborating with other disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architects to assess how our various products can be deployed in that region
• Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.
• Escalate issues as required and communicate clearly and effectively at the appropriate level of detail with people from a wide range of technical abilities and backgrounds.
• Travel will occasionally be necessary but shouldn't be more than 25%. International support will be part of the job.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Electrical / Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience with industrial / commercial design or experience directly related to data center infrastructure and data center planning.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam,

Preferred qualifications :

• Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, maintain high quality standards
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, sketch up and MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standard including Local and international standards.
