  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including engineering, design, operations, procurement, and executive leadership to align construction timelines with business objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of construction delivery, including contractor selection, contract negotiation, scheduling, budgeting, permitting, and on-site execution.
  • Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget while meeting stringent quality and performance standards.
  • Coordinate with utility providers, municipal authorities, and other third-party stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services (power, fiber, water, etc.).
  • Provide ongoing reporting to leadership on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Support site selection and feasibility assessments for future data center locations.
  • Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols across all construction sites.
  • Drive innovation in construction methodology, materials, and delivery models to accelerate time-to-market for AI workloads.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in large-scale data center, mission-critical facility, or hyperscale construction management.
  • Proven track record successfully delivering multi-million-dollar construction projects on aggressive timelines.
  • Deep understanding of data center infrastructure systems including electrical, mechanical, cooling, security, and network interconnectivity.
  • Experience managing complex projects in dynamic, fast-growth environments.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to interface effectively with design engineers, contractors, and technical operations teams.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML-specific compute and cooling requirements, including high-density rack design, liquid cooling, or immersion cooling systems.
  • Experience working with utility-scale power delivery and renewable energy integration.
  • LEED certification, PMP, or other relevant industry certifications a plus.

What’s In It For You:

  • Competitive compensation with significant upside potential.
  • Leadership role with significant ownership over business-critical projects.
