Job summary

Meta Platforms, Inc. seeks an experienced Community Engagement Manager to develop and sustain relationships with local officials, business groups, nonprofits, and school districts around our data center campuses.

You will partner with site selection, operations, communications, and public policy teams to advance community initiatives and mitigate risks. The role requires 7+ years in public affairs or related fields, a bachelor’s degree, and experience with CSR and policy processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in public affairs, nonprofit management, government relations, economic development, or public facing engagement.
• Experience with nonprofit grants, donations, and corporate social responsibility planning.
• Experience communicating and handling highly confidential information.
• Strong communication, organizational, and program-management skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with local and state policy and legislative processes at a local level.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the data center community.
• Partner with internal teams to advance company goals at the local level.
• Maintain and optimize Meta's regional data center community development plan.
• Build relationships with local partners to support infrastructure development and mitigate local risks.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as needed.
• Lead projects related to our data centers.
