Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to deliver commissioning for mission-critical facilities, including data centers and AI infrastructure. You will manage testing from pre-functional to integrated system validation and coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors.

The role features a stable backlog, a 3 weeks on / 1 week off travel cadence for data center projects, and a base salary of $100,000–$160,000 with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in commissioning
• Electrical background required
• Data center or mission-critical experience essential
• CCP or CxA certification strongly preferred
• NFPA 70E and OSHA 10/30 required
• Experience with testing equipment and field validation

Responsibilities

• Deliver commissioning from pre-functional testing through integrated system validation.
• Manage commissioning activities for large, complex facilities.
• Develop commissioning plans, test procedures, SOPs, and MOPs.
• Lead equipment pre-startup, start-up, and functional performance testing.
• Perform integrated system testing and load bank testing.
• Review design documents, drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Maintain commissioning logs, checklists, and documentation.
• Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports with deficiencies and recommendations.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and owner representatives.
• Support troubleshooting and validation of electrical systems in the field.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and construction coordination as required
