Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Engineer to oversee testing and validation of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure. You will review design documents, lead Factory Witness Testing, and manage third-party commissioning vendors for onsite testing.

You will own projects, resolve issues, and share lessons learned to improve commissioning programs, while coordinating test scripts, scheduling, and multi-discipline input across teams for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning experience in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide testing and validation oversight of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Review design documents and equipment submittals; lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT).
• Manage third-party commissioning vendors for onsite pre-functional, functional, and integrated testing.
• Coordinate scheduling, test script development, and project planning during commissioning.
