Job summary

Meade is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to commission mission-critical data center electrical and mechanical systems for a world-class technology company. This role supports power generation, distribution, UPS, ATS, PDUs, MV switchgear, chilled water, DDC controls, and critical DX HVAC equipment, with emphasis on leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience with a strong emphasis in data centers.
• Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred but will consider other engineering disciplines, two (2) year degree, military training, or equivalent work experience.
• Passion for leading in moments of ambiguity, particularly in construction and electrical operational problems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Top-notch organization and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office products is critical.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and write commissioning policies, scripts and procedures.
• Perform construction observations and develop thorough test plans.
• Execute tests for electrical and mechanical systems and ensure testing aligns with standards and specifications.
• Review data and prepare technical reports.
• Review design documents and equipment submittals.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and project teams.
