Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a Data Center Technician I to maintain cleanliness standards in our controlled environments in New Albany, OH. The position focuses on meticulous cleaning of ceilings, walls, equipment and floors to meet strict data center guidelines.

You will follow customer SOPs, participate in ongoing training, perform documentation, and support cross-training of team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Pass a background check and I-9

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines.
• Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleaning is completed promptly and correctly.
• Participate in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Micro-clean all surfaces within the general & critical environment including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.
• Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
• Review change to SOP/SOW documentation and re-train.
• Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.
