Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services in Hermiston, OR is seeking a Data Center Cleaning Technician I to maintain cleanliness in controlled environments in line with SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning ceilings, walls, equipment and floors, following customer SOPs, and participating in ongoing training to support data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Clean all surfaces in general and critical environments including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
• Follow customer SOPs in precise detail including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Review SOP/SOW changes and retrain as needed.
• Assist in cross-training of personnel.
• Other duties as defined by supervisor.

SUMMARY

The Data Center Cleaning Technician I plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence and cleanliness standards of our controlled environments.This position is not only about keeping areas visually clean but ensuring that all surfaces, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors, are meticulously maintained to meet the strict guidelines of cleanliness required in a data center setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleaningiscompleted promptly and correctly.
• Responsible for participating in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Normal duties include but are not limited to micro-cleaning all surfaces within the general & critical environment including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.
• The ability to follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
• Review change to SOP/SOW documentation and re-train.
• Assist in the cross training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Pass a background check and I-9

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
