Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Data Center Technician I responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards in controlled environments, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors to meet strict data center guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to learn SOPs, perform basic math, pass a background check, and follow procedures precisely. Typical shift is 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with daily duties and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 1 year related experience/training; or equivalent combination).
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s.
• Ability to perform these operations using US monetary, weight, volume and distance units.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines; monitor procedures for prompt and correct completion.
• Participate in continuous training: Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Micro-clean all surfaces within general and critical environments including ceilings, walls, equipment and floors.
• Follow customer SOPs/SOW documentation with precision.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and implement corrective and preventative actions (variances).
• Review changes to SOP/SOW and re-train accordingly.
• Assist in cross-training of other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.
