Job summary

ENERCON, in Kennesaw, GA, is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer intern to support design and assessment of critical facilities. You will contribute to infrastructure for energy and environmental systems, work on real projects, and gain hands‑on experience in a collaborative setting.

The role requires an ABET‑accredited degree path (BS/MS) with coursework in steel, concrete, and structural analysis, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
• Preferred graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
• Preferred Courses: Steel, Concrete, and Structural Analysis.
• Solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design and strengthen critical infrastructure supporting energy and environmental systems.
• Contribute to projects that service power plants and renewable facilities.
• Gain industry experience and contribute to meaningful energy projects while learning and growing.
