Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a detail-oriented Pressure Tester for the night shift to assemble and test data-center chillers. You will verify safety, quality, and performance by conducting pressure tests, identifying leaks, and ensuring system integrity.

The role offers 2nd/3rd shift differential, with base pay and overtime potential. You will work with testing tools, read blueprints, and uphold strict safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in manufacturing, quality testing, or HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures and leak detection is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical specs.
• Familiarity with testing equipment including digital pressure gauges and leak detectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pressure tests on assembled chillers to ensure proper function and quality.
• Inspect components for leaks, pressure irregularities, or defects.
• Use testing equipment such as pressure gauges, leak detectors, and digital monitoring systems.
• Record test results with pressure readings and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with assembly teams to resolve issues and ensure units meet specs.
• Follow safety protocols for pressurized systems, refrigerants and hazardous materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on testing processes.
