Job summary

Fluidstack seeks an experienced Capacity & Space Planner to optimize data center footprint and infrastructure capacity. You will model greyspace across sites, track design evolution, and build trusted views for design, delivery, and operations to answer fitment decisions.

You should have prior capacity planning for data centers, be proficient with drawings, lines, and spreadsheets, and have built early-constraint capacity models. Knowledge of DCIM tools and SQL/BI tooling is a plus.

Qualifications

• You’ve done capacity or space planning for data centers, industrial plants, or utilities.
• You’re comfortable in drawings and single-lines as well as spreadsheets.
• You’ve built capacity models that caught a real constraint early.
• You keep a source of truth current across many concurrent changes.
• You present a constraint with options attached.

Responsibilities

• Model greyspace capacity across sites and budgets behind every megawatt of whitespace.
• Track allocation as builds evolve and catch shortages before power.
• Build source-of-truth views used by design, delivery and operations.
• Analyze trade-offs when programs compete for space or capacity headroom.
