Job summary

A nationwide IT services provider is hiring a Fiber & Copper Cable QC Technician in Memphis, TN. You will oversee quality control for cabling, ensuring compliance with strict standards. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and strong knowledge of fiber and Cat6 cabling. Responsibilities include inspecting cables, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with technicians. This is a full-time, temporary position that may include night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in structured cabling, low-voltage QA/QC, or data center infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of fiber cabling and Cat6 standards.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA-568 labeling practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fiber and Cat6 cables for correct labeling and durability.
• Verify MPO breakout labels against documented patch schedules.
• Maintain logs of inspected zones and cable types.
