Job summary

Amazon's Infra Delivery Install Technician role supports data centers in the Canton, MS area, focusing on moving and installing large enterprise equipment, and installing fiber and copper cabling while maintaining strict safety standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex scenarios, and travel to multiple data center sites as needed, including after-hours support and site training shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center experience or equivalent
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience
• Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers
• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent
• Certification in CCNA/Network+ or CCENT preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends/nights/holidays and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment
• Ensure safety and security standards during installation
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required
