Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Install Technician to move and install large enterprise equipment and build fiber and copper cabling within data centers.

You will follow established installation procedures and perform break-fix activities, using proper material handling tools while maintaining safety standards. The role requires travel within and outside the regional work area, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and readiness to operate in 24/7 environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in hardware repair, cabling, network deployment, or data center operations.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching cabling between equipment.
• Ensuring proper safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
• Following well established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment.
• Traveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.
