Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Installer/Technician to move and install enterprise equipment and run fiber/copper cabling across data centers.

You will ensure safety standards, follow established installation procedures, and perform break-fix activities as needed. This role requires ability to travel to multiple data center sites within the region, with relocation stipend provided for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.
• Willingness to travel to data center sites and work at multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Moving and implementing large enterprise equipment.
• Installing Fiber and Copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Ensuring safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation.
• Following established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely using material handling tools and equipment.
• Traveling within and outside the regional work area is required; you must have a reliable vehicle and driver’s license.
