About the role
Prime is seeking aManager, Business SystemsArchitectureto help design, improve, and scale the systems that support our business. This role will partner with business and technology teams to translate operational needs into practical system solutions, improve processes and integrations, andestablishstandards that support reliable data and sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate combines business acumen, systemsexpertise, and strong execution. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with manager-level ownership and influence.
What you'll do
- Maintain a clear view of Prime’s business systems, integrations, data flows, and dependencies.
- Partner with business leaders and process owners to identify needs, define requirements, and assist with the design of scalable solutions.
- Develop and manage a prioritized business systems roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Improve end-to-end processes through standardization, automation, and stronger system controls.
- Define practical standards for system design, configuration, integrations, and documentation.
- Clarify systems of record, data ownership, and critical data definitions across functions.
- Evaluate new platforms and capabilities, including supporting vendor selection and implementation planning.
- Lead solution design for cross-functional system initiatives from discovery through deployment.
- Identify and reduce redundant tools, manual workarounds, technical debt, and unnecessary customization.
- Partner with Business Operations and business teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and supportable.
- Track adoption and outcomes to ensure system investments deliver measurable business value.
- Lead, coach, and develop the IT Operations team (systems administration, network administration, and helpdesk), including 1:1s, performance management, growth plans, and hiring against the approved phased headcount plan.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, solution architecture, systems analysis, or a related field.
- Experience designing solutions across multiple business platforms and functional areas.
- Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, data models, workflow automation, and system lifecycle management.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into clear solution designs.
- Strong process improvement, problem-solving, and project execution skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and influence decisions across functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a growing or transformation-focused organization.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, HRIS, financial, operational, integration, or business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance, access controls, master data, and system architecture practices.
- Experience supporting system implementations, platform consolidation, or automation initiatives.
