DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, USA, is seeking a Data Center Associate for the Kitting-C shift (MON–TH 8PM-6:30AM). You will assemble and install servers and electronic components, manage material orders, and support inventory movement within the datacenter.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, quality checks, cycle counts, and wiring cabling per diagrams. Strong safety awareness and 1–3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of related experience is required.
  • Experience with computers is required.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols are required.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload inbound/outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
  • Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for correct part numbers and pristine condition.
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for spare parts on-site.
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse systems.
  • Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices.
  • Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams.
  • Install rack hardware using hand/power/measuring tools.
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards in the work area.

Responsible for the assembly and installation of servers and various electronic components using a variety of hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.

Experience with computers is required in this role. For this position, the expected base pay range is $21/ hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
