DSV in Lockbourne, OH, is hiring a Data Center Associate for the E Shift (Thu-Sun, 6PM-4:30AM). You will handle material orders, customer service, and inventory, assemble and install servers and components with hand/power tools.

You will load/unload freight, perform quality checks, conduct daily cycle counts, and place server racks using laser measuring devices. 1-3 years of related experience and safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of related experience.
  • Experience with computers is required.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards is required.
  • Must be able to pass background checks, including gov't or airport checks.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers and quantities.
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
  • Process return shipments of various electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
  • Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
  • Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks by following diagrams and schematics.
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
  • Perform cleanup activities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and 5s compliance.
  • Push, pull and lift frequently throughout the workday.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $21/hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
