Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, OH, is seeking a Data Center Associate for the A-Shift (Mon-Fri, 6 AM–2:30 PM). You will manage material orders, provide customer service, and handle inventory while assembling and installing servers and components using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, quality checks, cycle counts, and configuring server racks with precise measurements.

• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks by following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Perform cleanup activities to ensure safety and cleanliness per 5S standards.
• Push, pull and lift frequently during the workday.

Responsible for the assembly and installation of servers and various electronic components using a variety of hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.

• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks by following provided diagrams and schematics
• Install rack hardware using various hand, power and measuring tools
• Operate various types of material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks

For this position, the expected base pay range is $21/ hourly . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
