The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its Data Center Group in Mount Pleasant, WI.

You will support MEP scope management on large-scale data center construction projects, coordinate design development, BIM processes, and assist with scheduling and commissioning planning. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience managing MEP scopes on complex commercial or data center projects, strong knowledge of electrical/distribution, cooling infrastructure, and

Qualifications

• Experience managing MEP scopes on complex projects, preferably data centers.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, cooling infrastructure, and mission-critical redundancy.
• Experience with commissioning and integrated testing processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Support management of MEP scopes on large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning.
• Coordinate design development, constructability reviews, and BIM/clash detection.
• Assist with procurement, scope reviews, contracts, and performance tracking.
• Support QA/QC, inspections, and compliance with mission-critical standards.
• Track budgets, cost reports, and change management for MEP scopes.
• Participate in commissioning planning and functional testing activities.
• Assist with closeout documentation including O&M manuals and as-builts.
• Coordinate with field teams, designers, commissioning agents, and owner reps.
