Job summary

Davis is seeking an architect to lead data center feasibility studies, from capacity through to schematic design. You will run test fits, present to clients, and work under a lead architect to deliver capacity solutions for IT load on sites.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in data center projects, experience with Rhino, Revit and AutoCAD, and a strong ability to translate zoning rules into buildable layouts for rapid decision-making.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture or equivalent.
• Three to five years on data center products with end-to-end project exposure.
• Mastery of Rhino and Revit; AutoCAD required.

Responsibilities

• Establish IT megawatt capacity from zoning and constraints.
• Qualify land-use category and environmental classification for industrial facilities.
• Draft data halls with grid, aisles, AHUs and structural layout.
• Develop industrial site plans including service yards, loading, basins and parking.
• Arbitrate between schemes and ensure compliance with height caps.
• Present capacity numbers to clients and defend assumptions.
