Job summary

Sira Consulting is seeking a Datacenter Engineer to operate in a 24x7 shift environment in Englewood, CO. The role is hands-on with servers, storage, networking gear, and cabling, requiring strong DC operations experience and the ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and project teams.

The candidate should be flexible for shift work, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with rapid problem solving in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• 24x7 support for overall Infra/ Datacenter operations (servers, storage, network, racks).
• 100% hands-on datacenter management (servers, racks, cabling, etc.).
• Experience in DC operations including rack space, power, cooling, and monitoring tools.
• Handling incidents/service requests and meeting SLAs.
• Coordinating with DC vendors for projects and break-fix activities.
• Team player with strong communication during conf calls and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 DC operations coverage, including on-site maintenance and issue resolution.
• Manage racking, stacking, cabling, and decommissioning of DC hardware.
• Support project teams for new installations and decommissioning activities.
• Monitor and maintain DC infrastructure and coordinating with vendors.

Mandatory Skills

• Accountable for 24* 7 support for overall Infra/ Datacenter (Servers, Storage, Network, Racks

• etc) Operations.
• 100% hands-on datacenter management (servers, racks, fiber / copper cablings etc),
• Well versed working (Racking / Stacking / Cabling / Decommissioning / Break-fix) on DC
• Hardware e.g. Servers, Storage, Backup, Router, Switches firewall etc.
• 3-7 years of experience in managing datacenters operations of a large and complex customer.
• Experience in Capacity planning for Rack space, power, cooling, DC modular containment,
• necessary monitoring tools and services.
• Handling Incidents / Service Request and adhering to contractual SLAs.
• Coordinating with Various DC Vendors for new projects and Break fixes.
• Supporting Project teams for new installations and decommissioning.
• Routing DC Monitoring and Maintenance activities.
