Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst in Bloomington, MN. This onsite role partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights using SQL and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

You will design dashboards, develop reports, handle data quality, and support ad hoc analyses while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of BI experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, BI, reporting, or analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills with large datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and KPIs.
• Identify trends and insights from large datasets and communicate findings to leadership.
• Develop and maintain recurring operational, financial, and performance reporting.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and logic.
• Support ad hoc analyses and strategic initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements and reporting enhancements.
