Job summary

ApTask is seeking a candidate for an automation and data analytics role focused on building automation solutions and data-driven processes. The position emphasizes advanced technical capabilities and a strong automation background across financial services, especially wealth management operations.

The role leverages leading RPA tools like Alteryx, UiPath, and Power Automate, with scripting in Python, VBA, or SQL to create integrated workflows.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Approximately 5+ years of experience designing and delivering process automation solutions in the financial services industry (preferably within Wealth Management Operations).
• Automation Tools Expertise: Hands-on experience with leading RPA/automation platforms - such as Alteryx, UiPath & Microsoft Power Automate for developing automated workflows. Strong scripting/programming skills in languages like Python, VBA, or SQL for building custom automation scripts and integrations.
• Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Wealth Management Operations processes, including areas like trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, client reporting, reference data, and exception management.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated strength in business analysis, process mapping, and problem-solving. Ability to analyze complex operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and define improvement solutions. Critical thinking skills to challenge assumptions, validate automation outcomes, and ensure solutions are robust and error proofed by design.
