Job summary

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is seeking a Data Management III to translate procedures for electronic data automation tools, maintain data flows, and develop reports and dashboards for management use.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, experience with Google and Microsoft suites, and the ability to train staff in software applications, including advanced Excel macros and Access databases.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of professional experience in data management or analysis and management of business processes and systems.
• OR Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of related experience.
• OR Master's degree substitutes for bachelor’s plus one year experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate business procedures and requirements for new electronic data automation tools.
• Assist in Data Quality Control and Assurance requirements and procedures.
• Maintain and monitor current data flows and develop new flows.
• Develop, monitor, validate, analyze and present data reports and dashboards (SSRS/BOXI or similar).
• Serve as primary liaison with staff to determine reporting requirements.
• Provide training and software assistance to Program Staff on Microsoft and Google applications, including Excel macros and Access databases.
