Cerulli Associates in Boston seeks a Data Automation Analyst to expand reusable data processing, benchmarking, reporting, and validation workflows that support research, publishing, and consulting work.

The role blends hands-on implementation with analytical judgment in a modern data environment, contributing to stronger data practices, scalable pipelines, and AI-enabled capabilities.

This position reports to the Associate Director, Data Strategy, with a hybrid schedule in the Boston office.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, data analytics, IS, statistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years in data analytics, data engineering, automation, or BI (1 year may qualify).
• Strong Python and SQL fundamentals.
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, Git or similar platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with data-driven decision making in finance or publishing is a plus.

Mansioni

• Build, run, validate, and improve reusable data automation and reporting workflows
• Use Python and SQL to transform, reconcile, and prepare data for analysis and deliverables
• Contribute to cloud-based data pipelines, transformation models, notebooks, and config-driven processes
• Develop and improve automated checks, regression tests, diagnostics, and validation procedures
• Investigate data and workflow issues through root-cause analysis and corrections
• Standardize and align data across reporting periods for historical analysis
• Maintain technical documentation, guides, configs, and data definitions
• Partner with researchers, Editorial, IT, and stakeholders to validate outputs
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for shared logic and tests
• Assess options, communicate tradeoffs, and highlight risks or gaps
