Job summary

Capital Management Services, LP in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Data Automation Analyst to turn manual tasks into smarter workflows using AI and automation tools. This role supports audit, correspondence, and IT control functions while building end-to-end solutions with Power Automate, Python, SQL, and BI dashboards.

You will collaborate with IT leadership and business teams to implement improvements, train staff, and ensure compliance with security and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, data analytics, CS, or related field.
• At least two years hands-on experience automating business processes using Power Automate, UiPath, Python, or similar tools.
• Practical AI experience with tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, or other generative AI platforms, including writing prompts and validating results.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Access, plus Word and Outlook.
• Ability to manage projects day to day and explain technical changes to nontechnical staff.
• Typing ability of at least 55 words per minute with 80% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve automated workflows.
• Design, test, implement, and maintain automations using Power Automate, UiPath, Python, SQL, Excel/Power Query, and RPA platforms.
• Start with correspondence review, critical-status tracking, and audit data gathering; expand improvements across departments.
• Extract, transform, and validate data from AS400/IBM i and other systems.
• Create reports and dashboards to track audit activity and automation results.
• Document workflows, write SOPs, and train employees on new processes.
• Follow CMS security, compliance, and AI-use requirements with proper controls and audit trails.
