Job summary

Meta in Austin, TX is hiring a full-time Data Architecture Program Manager to define and scale governance, standards, and integration patterns for Global Operations. You will translate business needs into canonical data models and drive cross-team alignment.

You will mentor other program managers, partner with data science and engineering, and shape long-term data architecture strategy that enables cost attribution and scalable decision systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program management or technical program management in a data-intensive environment.
• Experience designing data models, taxonomies, or classification systems adopted across teams.
• Ability to translate data concepts across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven cross-functional consensus on shared standards or definitions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading schema governance, deprecation planning, and migration coordination.
• Analytical thinking and structured problem solving at scale.
• Experience working across global, multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern shared operational data models and classification frameworks used across multiple teams and systems
• Establish architectural standards designed to scale beyond any single team or program
• Translate business requirements into data architecture designs and integration patterns
• Develop understanding of data flows to identify gaps and standardization opportunities
• Drive cross-functional alignment on definitions, integration standards, and field-level agreements
• Manage schema evolution and breaking changes with deprecation planning and communication
• Partner with data science and engineering to productionize data products and pipelines
• Design cost attribution and resource modeling ensuring end-to-end reconciliation
• Anticipate future data needs and design canonical structures before teams build in isolation
• Set long-term data architecture strategy and roadmaps across GO
