Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Data Architect / Data Engineering Lead to set the direction for enterprise data platform initiatives. You will guide architecture, data modeling, governance, and scalable implementation across ingestion, processing, and consumption layers.

You will mentor engineers, review designs, and partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure delivery of robust, auditable, and secure data solutions in a global, cloud-first environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, and lakehouse implementation.
• 5+ years with Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, SQL, and modern cloud data platforms.
• 4+ years designing and governing production-grade data pipelines with idempotency, restartability, auditability, lineage, monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable data architecture across ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers.
• Define enterprise data architecture patterns including Bronze/Silver/Gold.
• Provide governance on data modeling, patterns, and deployment readiness.
• Establish production-grade data engineering practices with observability and data quality checks.
• Mentor data engineers and conduct design/code reviews.
• Communicate risks and decisions to stakeholders.
