Job description

What will you do?

- Define and lead the enterprise data architecture strategy across cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Design scalable, future-proof data platforms, including data lakes, lakehouses, and modern data warehouses.

- Drive the standardization of data modeling, metadata management, and data governance practices.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust data pipelines and real-time streaming solutions.

- Provide architectural oversight on ETL/ELT frameworks, data integration, and ingestion patterns.

- Align data architecture with security, compliance, and privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

- Advise on data tooling and platform choices based on use case, scale, and business value.

- Act as a technical mentor and thought leader across data engineering and analytics teams.

Must-Have Qualifications

* 7+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture, including at least 2–3 years in a lead/architect role.

* Strong experience architecting data solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

* Expertise in data modeling, distributed data systems, and data warehousing technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, Snowflake).

* Solid understanding of modern data stack tools: Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, and others.

* Experience with data governance, cataloging, lineage, and privacy frameworks.

* Strong communication and leadership skills; able to influence across business and tech teams.

* B2+ English proficiency.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Familiarity with data mesh, data fabric, or domain-driven data architectures.

- Experience in MLOps, feature stores, and model metadata management.

- Knowledge of IAC tools like Terraform, and DevOps/dataops practices.

- Certifications in cloud platforms or data architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, GCP Professional Data Engineer).
