Job summary

PNC is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead architecture and control frameworks for the DnA data ecosystem. You will base in Pittsburgh, Strongsville, or Dallas and design robust movement controls across on-premises data warehouses and lakehouse environments.

You will define standards for high availability, enterprise security, and auditable data movement, tying together Hadoop, Iceberg, and related ecosystems with modern orchestration.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecture for high-volume, low-latency data services.
• Governance or analytics experience to support data operations and data integrity.
• Ability to collaborate with enterprise architecture and technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and optimizes data warehouses and ETL architectures to support BI users.
• Analyze BI data and advise on data warehouse growth and integration.
• Capture requirements with IT and business customers for data warehouse design.
• Provide guidance to ensure solutions align with architecture and standards.
• Lead data warehouse implementation and integration to meet quality and integrity standards.
• Ensure security, auditability and regulatory compliance across data movement.
