Job summary

ThinkTek LLC is seeking an experienced Data Architect / Data Analyst to support enterprise data architecture and business processes in a federal contracting environment. The role focuses on identifying information assets, documenting data elements, and developing an end-to-end canonical data model with a strong data dictionary and RTM.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business architecture, data architecture, information architecture, business analysis, or related field.
• Experience developing conceptual, logical, or canonical data models.
• Strong data modeling concepts, entities, attributes, relationships, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience maintaining data dictionaries and requirements traceability matrices.
• Strong requirements management and traceability experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, analyze, and document information assets required to execute and govern re-engineered processes.
• Analyze target-state processes to determine information required at each stage of the lifecycle.
• Decompose information assets into granular data elements for end-to-end canonical data model development.
• Define data-element attributes, relationships, ownership, usage, and context.
• Identify dependencies between information assets, processes, capabilities, rules, and performance measures.
• Ensure information requirements are complete, standardized, and aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Document data flows, interfaces, transformations, dependencies, and handoffs across architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data lifecycle models and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
• Maintain archival artifacts and support data governance, migration, and system implementation activities.
• Translate requirements into standardized data structures and logical relationships.
