Job summary

ICONMA client in Tysons, VA is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead data strategy, modeling, and governance for a financial services environment. You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to design scalable data platforms and ensure data quality.

The ideal candidate has about 5 years of data analysis and 4+ years programming, plus at least 1 year in project or people management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data technologies including Python, SQL or Spark and Databricks.
• Proven ability to manage data projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership and across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data architecture initiatives and data integration across platforms.
• Perform data validation and quality checks; ensure data governance.
• Develop plans to close process gaps and track progress with stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, set agendas, take notes, and report status to leadership.
• Communicate updates to Sr Director level and other executives.
