Job summary

VService IT Solutions seeks a senior Data Architect to join its Data team in a remote, permanent capacity. The role reports to the Director of Data and emphasizes building scalable data pipelines, warehousing, and a semantic/BI layer.

The candidate should have 12 to 17 years in data engineering/architecture, expert SQL, Python and PySpark, plus deep AWS/Snowflake expertise. Hands-on AI tooling experience is also valued.

Qualifications

• 12 to 17 years of experience in data engineering/architecture.
• Expert-level SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Expert AWS and Snowflake experience.
• Hands-on AI tooling experience (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) for engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integration/CDC, pipelines, warehousing, dimensional modelling (Kimball), and exposure to AI/ML data products.

Role & responsibilities

We have an open requisition for a Data Architect on the Data team, reporting to the Director of Data.

Experience

12 to 17 years, data engineering/architecture

Core stack

AWS and Snowflake (expert level), plus Airflow/dbt Scope: data integration/CDC, pipelines, warehousing, dimensional modelling (Kimball), semantic/BI layer, and exposure to AI/ML data products Languages: expert-level SQL, Python, and PySpark Also looking for hands‑on experience using AI development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) for engineering productivity

Location:

Remote (Permanent WFH), with 2 to 3 in-person team meetups in India per year

Nice to have:

financial services / debt-settlement / consumer-finance background, GenAI/RAG or LLMOps exposure, AWS/SnowPro certifications
