Job Title: Data Architect

Work location: Boston, MA (Remote)

Duration : 8 Months

  • Required skills include Data Access, Data Architecture, AI & Data Processes, AI & Data Strategy, Data Taxonomy, and PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management).
  • Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in the skills required.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Data Access, Data Architecture, AI & Data Processes, AI & Data Strategy, Data Taxonomy, and PBM.

Job description:

  • Project Nova is a multi-year platform transformation program with Evernorth, building a new cloud-native pharmacy benefit management platform while re-implementing and migrating existing PBM capability and client business in waves.
  • Client leads Program Management and Governance, Integrated Delivery Management, and Operating Model and Readiness through an Orchestration Hub that coordinates two delivery arms, capability build and integration/re-implementation, across roughly 16 functional workstreams.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining the data requirements and structure for the application.
  • This includes modeling and designing the application data structure, storage, and integration to ensure efficient and scalable data management.
  • You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
  • Providing solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams is a critical part of this role. Expert proficiency in Data Access is required.
  • Expert proficiency in Data Architecture Principles is recommended. Expert proficiency in AI & Data Processes, Data Taxonomy, and AI & Data Strategy is suggested.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data models that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new data technologies and methodologies to enhance data architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and consistency across platforms.
  • Provide advanced guidance on data governance and best practices to elevate data quality and security standards.
  • Analyze complex data challenges and design innovative solutions that support long-term organizational goals.
