We are seeking a Snowflake Data Architect to serve as the sr. technical leader responsible for designing and managing our foundational data infrastructure. This role will focus on building and optimizing robust data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake, ensuring data quality, performance, and security. The Data Architect will also provide technical direction, oversee best practices, and integrate healthcare data into the broader Snowflake environment.

This is a 12-month initial contract (opportunity to convert to perm).

This is a 100% remote role.

You must be based in the US and must work EST hours.

Candidates based in the Southeast US or in GA are ideal.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and implement our data ingestion processes, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Manage and optimize Snowflake virtual warehouses, storage, and overall cost efficiency.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards for raw and transformed data across all sources.
• Design and maintain core data models in Snowflake to support BI and AI initiatives.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance within the Snowflake environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of Data Architecture experience
• Deep expertise in Snowflake (3+ years)
• Snowflake performance optimization and cost management experience
• Strong Cortex & Streamlit experience
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g. Fivetran, Flat File)
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing architecture principles
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
