Job description

We are seeking an experienced GCP Data Architectto design and implement scalable, secure, andhigh-performance data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud data architecture, data engineering, and GCP services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale data architectures on GCP
• Define data models, data pipelines, andintegration strategies
• Work with data engineering and applicationteams to implement architecture
• Design batch and real-time data processing solutions
• Establish data governance, security, and access-control standards
• Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability, and cost
• Develop architecture documentation, technical specifications, and standards
• Participate in technical design reviews andprovide architectural guidance
• Troubleshoot complex data architecture and integration issues

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with batch and streaming data architectures
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake/lakehouse concepts
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, anddata governance
• Experience with Python and/or Java
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructureas Code tools
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with dbt
